Bangalore-based health and hygiene startup HealthFab made a notable appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 32.

Founded in 2019 by Sourav Chakrabarty, Kirti Bikram Acharjee, and Satyajit Chakrabarty, the brand offers innovative and eco-friendly solutions, including leak-proof, reusable cotton period panties designed to provide women with a safe, comfortable, and sustainable menstrual hygiene option.

The founders entered the tank seeking ₹1 crore in exchange for 3% equity, valuing their company at ₹33.33 crore.

They highlighted HealthFab’s mission to revolutionize menstrual hygiene by prioritizing comfort, quality, and environmental sustainability.

During the discussion, Namita Thapar asked if the company had considered developing panties for urinary incontinence, emphasizing the demand for such products. The founders revealed that they were already working on a new SKU addressing this issue and planned to launch it soon.

Vineeta Singh noted that while similar products were available globally, they had yet to gain traction in India, positioning HealthFab as a potential pioneer in the space.

Impressed by their vision, Vineeta made the first offer—₹50 lakh for 1.75% equity, along with ₹50 lakh as debt at 9% interest. Peyush Bansal explored their long-term strategy and offered their original ask. Anupam Mittal praised the founders’ business acumen, calling them “future global entrepreneurs,” while Aman Gupta appreciated their approach and joined Vineeta’s offer.

Ultimately, all four sharks—Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal—collaborated to offer ₹2 crore for 7% equity, bringing the company’s valuation to ₹28.57 crore. The deal was successfully sealed.

Speaking about HealthFab’s journey and their Shark Tank India experience, co-founder Kirti Bikram Acharjee said,

“We’re not just solving a problem; we’re creating a movement. Our reusable period panty is designed to provide comfort, convenience, and sustainability. We believe it’s a game-changer for women everywhere. We’re not just looking for an investment; we’re looking for a partner who shares our vision and is committed to making a difference. With the right support, we can take our product to the next level and create a positive impact on the lives of women everywhere.”
