Harender Singh Bhatia is the Managing Director and Chairman of Simran Farms, India’s leading producer and exporter of fresh and frozen food products. Bhatia’s business journey has been marked by perseverance, hard work, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

The company was founded in 1976 and has grown to become one of the country’s largest egg producers. Simran Farms places a high value on quality and has taken numerous measures to ensure the safety and health of its animals.

Mr. Bhatia is a Post Graduate in Arts with 36 years of rich experience in various business activities, 33 of which have been in the poultry industry.

He has extensive practical experience in all aspects of the poultry industry, including poultry keeping, feed management, farm management, egg hatching, hatchery management, and marketing of chicks, eggs, and birds.

Bhatia began his journey as a young man with a love of farming. In 1984, he began his entrepreneurial journey by establishing his own poultry farm in Karnal, Haryana, India, with only 500 chickens. In his early years, he faced numerous challenges and setbacks, but his dedication and commitment to his work kept him going.

Bhatia’s business grew over time as he introduced new technologies and modern farming techniques. To produce a variety of high-quality chicken products, he established a feed mill, a hatchery, and a processing plant. Bhatia’s emphasis on quality and consistency helped him establish a strong market reputation and gain the trust of his customers.

Simran Farms, Bhatia’s own brand of chicken products, was launched in 1995 and quickly became a household name in the region. He continued to invest in R&D in order to launch new products and improve the quality of his offerings.

Bhatia expanded his business beyond the domestic market to serve international customers, owing to his strong business acumen and strategic vision. He built a cutting-edge processing plant that met international food safety and quality standards. Simran Farms now exports to more than 20 countries, including the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Simran Farms has grown to become one of India’s largest and most successful poultry companies under Bhatia’s leadership. Numerous awards and recognitions have been bestowed upon the company for its high-quality products and contributions to the food industry. With his unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, Bhatia continues to drive the company’s growth and success.

Simran Farms has grown under his capable leadership and extensive experience. His integrity and transparency values have been instilled in all employees. He is constantly coming up with new ideas and implementing cutting-edge technology to help the company grow.

Simran Farms has a presence in the animal feed industry through its subsidiary, Simran Feeds, in addition to its core business of egg production. The company manufactures a variety of animal feed products used by farmers and livestock producers throughout India.

Simran Farms has built a solid reputation in the Indian agribusiness sector and continues to grow and expand its operations.
