Bharat Matrimony, the flagship platform of Matrimony.com Group, has announced a $500,000 investment in Ask My Guru (AMG), a Bengaluru-based AI startup and the world’s first interactive Vedic Shastra platform.
This follows Ask My Guru’s $1.2 million seed funding, bringing its total raised capital to $1.72 million.
Founded in 2024 by Krishna Mohan Vedula and Vivek Sadamate, Ask My Guru delivers AI-driven Vedic astrology solutions designed to enhance matchmaking. Leveraging Vedic and KP systems, AMG provides guidance on relationships, careers, and life decisions, along with personalized compatibility analysis for users seeking astrological insights.
Since its beta launch in June 2025, AMG has already registered over 400,000 users and facilitated 5 million chats, demonstrating early traction in the emerging AI astrology market.
Bharat Matrimony’s investment aims to integrate AMG’s AI capabilities into its platform, giving its user base of over 4 crore across web, mobile, and 130+ retail outlets access to real-time compatibility assessments, personalized guidance, and multi-dimensional life insights.

AMG also plans global expansion, beginning with the US, aiming to scale its platform for users seeking personalized astrological insights worldwide.
