Ankit Chitalia is the MD and CEO of KishanKraft, a company situated in Pannimadai, Tamil Nadu that specializes on providing farmers in India with innovative, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly agricultural equipment. Chitalia first became involved with KishanKraft in 2011, when he co-founded the company with a group of like-minded individuals who shared his passion for sustainable agriculture.

Ankit Chitalia finished fifth in his Mumbai University B.Tech-Production Engineering class.

Chitalia had grown up in an agricultural family and had always been interested in agriculture. He was aware of the challenges faced by small and marginal farmers, who frequently lacked access to cutting-edge technology and equipment. Chitalia recognized an opportunity to bridge this gap and make a big difference in the lives of farmers across India.

Under Chitalia’s leadership, KishanKraft has grown from a small business to a market leader in agricultural equipment. The company has introduced a variety of unique products that have helped farmers increase their produce and income. KishanKraft’s most popular equipment include power tillers, micro harvesters, and rice transplanters.

Ankit Chitalia married Esha Savla and moved to Bangaluru. Ankit is no longer an outsider after seven years. “The first few months were challenging because my entire social circle was in Mumbai.” But now I have a lot of pals here. I’ve visited most of the city’s “must-see” attractions; my favorite activity is a stroll through Lalbagh. Apart from that, I’ve visited Mysuru and Coorg,” he says.

“Our families have been in Mumbai for generations,” Ankit explains.

Ankit was the Sales and Operations Manager at KisanKraft for 9 years. KisanKraft had its highest revenue under his leadership.

The business strategy of Chitalia is based on the concepts of sustainability and social responsibility. He believes that enterprises have a social and environmental duty. KishanKraft’s products are environmentally friendly and energy-efficient, reducing agriculture’s carbon footprint.

Chitalia is involved in a number of charitable projects aimed at improving the lives of farmers and rural communities in addition to his work at KishanKraft. He is a strong proponent of sustainable agriculture and works closely with farmers to promote ecologically friendly farming practices.

KisanKraft has been declared the WINNER among all 5 BRICS countries in the Green Economy category for our research on Rice. BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) had organized the BRICS Solutions Award Contest for 2020.

Chitalia’s experience with KishanKraft has been distinguished by an uncompromising dedication to innovation and client satisfaction. He has put together a formidable team of professionals who share his vision for sustainable agriculture, and he is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of agricultural equipment. KishanKraft is well-positioned for future growth and success, with Chitalia at the helm.
