EVeez, a Gurugram-based electric mobility-as-a-service (eMaaS) platform, has raised $5.4 million in a Series A round led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.

Other participants in the round include Caret Capital, ThinKuvate, Ev2 Ventures, Barbershop with Shantanu, SailThru Ventures, and ah! Ventures Fund.

Previously, EVeez had raised $994,000 from ah! Ventures and other investors.

The fresh capital will be used to scale EVeez’s affordable electric two-wheeler subscription model for gig workers, aiming to expand its footprint from 15 cities to 30 cities, and grow its fleet from 7,000 EVs to 50,000 by FY27.

Co-founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dwivedi and Gaurav Rathore, the company helps gig economy workers—especially from low-income urban communities—access two-wheeler EVs via weekly subscription plans starting at ₹1,100, eliminating the need for upfront ownership.

EVeez’s offering includes repairs, insurance, battery swap partnerships, and even EV training—enabling workers in quick commerce, food delivery, ride-hailing, and e-commerce to earn without worrying about vehicle maintenance or debt.

According to the company, 55% of its current user base comprises first-time gig workers, while the remaining 45% are transitioning from ICE vehicles. Those making the switch reportedly see a boost in take-home income due to savings on fuel and maintenance.

By FY27, the startup aims to empower over 40,000 new gig workers to join the workforce through its eMaaS platform.
