Apple is gearing up to expand its retail presence in India with two new stores planned in Noida and Pune.

According to a Financial Express report, the tech giant has finalized locations at DLF Mall of India in Noida and Kopa Mall in Pune for its third and fourth Apple Stores in the country.

This marks the next phase of Apple’s retail strategy in India, following the success of its flagship stores—Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi. Together, the two stores reportedly generated ₹800 crore in revenue in their first year, with the Delhi outlet alone contributing nearly 60% despite being smaller in size.

Apple is also said to be scouting locations for two more stores, one each in Bengaluru and Mumbai, which would bring the total number of physical Apple Stores in India to six.

In preparation for this expansion, Apple has posted over 20 retail job openings on LinkedIn, signaling a ramp-up in hiring.

Each current store employs around 90 to 100 staff members, and the upcoming stores are expected to operate on a similar scale.

Earlier this year, Apple launched its Apple Store app in India, enabling users to make direct purchases and receive personalized shopping recommendations. With the growing demand for iPhones and other Apple products in India, the company is betting big on the country as a key growth market.
