HostBooks Secures $5 Million of its $15 Million Series B Funding Round

Gurugram-based SaaS accounting startup HostBooks has raised $5 million (approximately ₹42.4 crore) as part of its ongoing $15 million Series B funding round, led by Orange Orbit LLP. The development was first reported by Inc42.

The company disclosed that the first tranche of $2.5 million has already been disbursed.

The fresh capital will be allocated to expanding its AI-powered product suite, growing its international footprint, and strengthening teams across sales, product marketing, and operations.

Founded in 2009 by Kapil Rana and Biswajit Mishra, HostBooks provides cloud-based solutions to help businesses manage compliance, accounting, finance, and operational challenges. The startup leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to empower entrepreneurs with streamlined operational control.

In 2023, HostBooks expanded its offerings to the UAE, marking a significant milestone in its international growth.

Previously, the startup secured $3 million in a Series A funding round in 2022 led by fintech giant Razorpay.

HostBooks has earned recognition for its contributions, with accolades such as Times 40 Under 40, MSME India – Best Enterprise of the Year: Financial Services (2022), and Tech India Best Tech Team of the Year (2022) listed among its achievements.
