Fitkin, an activewear brand specializing in high-performance and fashion-centric apparel, recently featured on Shark Tank India, where founder Surbhi Chawla pitched her range of functional fitness wear designed for the modern woman.

During the pitch, Surbhi highlighted the brand’s technical edge. Fitkin’s products boast features such as 4-way stretch, anti-odor properties, breathable panels, and anti-chafing fabric technology. With an in-house design, manufacturing, and quality control setup, the brand focuses on size inclusivity and “hidden pockets” to provide additional support and comfort. The brand’s “Hero Product,” the Women’s 1/4 Zip Slim Fit T-shirt, alone contributes 20% to total sales across 36 SKUs.

Entering the Tank, the founder initially sought ₹1 crore for 4% equity, valuing the company at ₹25 crores.

Since starting sales in 2022, Fitkin has shown consistent year-on-year growth. After recording sales of ₹98 lakhs in FY 21-22, the brand jumped to ₹1.97 crores in FY 22-23 and reached ₹2.34 crores in FY 24-25.

Currently, the bootstrapped company maintains a Year-to-Date (YTD) revenue of ₹1.6 crores and has projected net sales of ₹3 crores for FY 25-26. The business remains profitable with an EBITDA of 12-13% and a net margin between 8-10%.

After a detailed discussion regarding the brand’s Average Order Value (AOV) of ₹1,650 and its competitive pricing (ranging from ₹1,249 to ₹1,499 for core leggings), Vineeta Singh closed the deal. The final investment was ₹1 crore for 11% equity, valuing Fitkin at ₹9.09 crores.
